A lot of older pools suffer from a range of ailments linked to poor water proofing base layers to fencing systems that have passed their prime.  A lot of metal fencing was installed prior to the invention of salt as a chlorinator which results in carbon steel oxidation (rust). 

A lot of older glass fences were installed without the correct foundation and tree roots manage to distort and relocate glass support panels causing (in some cases) the glass to fall out. 

Using in ground ‘soft close’ devices that were only every designed for indoor use was a huge mistake taken up the glass industry.  These buried closers ultimately fail due to heat and are becoming hard to find as a spare. 

Glass gate conversion kits: We have designed and now built conversion kits to either convert to a metal gate or be able to taken more modern soft close devices. 

Glass movement.  Its not generally appreciated that glass is a liquid and settles very slowly over time.  Earlier foundation methods saw whole panel buried in mortar.   We often design new special glass panels to fit older mortar set panels to allow their continued function
